ASUM provides a wonderful opportunity for peers to formally recognise and celebrate leaders in their field who are striving to advance the quality and standards of their profession.

How can I nominate an ASUM member for an award?
There are two ways to submit your nomination:
1. Scroll to the sign in section of this page: If you are an ASUM member please login with your myASUM login. If you are not an ASUM member but have created an online account to register for one of our CPD Events or Webinars, you can use that login to nominate. If you do not have an ASUM login, please click on the button to create a new account.
2. Download and complete the nomination form in the last section of the PDF Awards Brochure and submit it by email to asum@asum.com.au
Which awards can I nominate an ASUM Member for?
You can nominate an ASUM Member for the following awards:
- Life member
- Honorary Fellow
- Australasian Sonographer of the Year
- Australasian Sonologist of the Year
- Award for Humanitarian Service
- Educator of the Year

When do nominations open and close?
Nominations are open all year round. Nominations for the 2024 awards to be presented at the ASUM 2024 Conference Gala Dinner in Brisbane on Saturday, 2 November 2024 and nominations must be received by Friday, 16 August 2024. After that date your nominations will be considered for 2025.
Who can nominate an ASUM member for an award?
Anyone can nominate an ASUM member for an award.
