Terms and Conditions

Registration cancellation or alterations

All cancellations or alterations of registration fees and optional activities (excluding accommodation and membership) must be made in writing to the ASUM 2020 Conference Team at conference@asum.com.au. A cancellation fee of $100 will apply to registrations cancelled on or after Monday, 21 September 2020. No refunds will be made after this date.

In the event of cancellation due to COVID-19 (or other pandemic) a full refund will be offered on the conference registration fee only.

Accommodation Bookings

All hotels will require a credit card from each guest upon check-in to cover any additional charges that are the responsibility of the guest.

Cancellations

All cancellations of accommodation bookings must be made in writing to the ASUM 2020 Conference Team at conference@asum.com.au. Cancellations by telephone will not be accepted. Cancellations charges are as follows:

  • Cancellations received prior to (2 months out), will receive a full refund
  • Cancellations received on (day of 2 months out), up until (1 month out), will receive a 50% refund
  • Cancellations received after (1 month out) will not receive a refund. However, substitutions will be accepted without charge until (day before the event).

  • Substitutions

    Substitutes must be made in writing to the ASUM 2020 Conference Team at conference@asum.com.au.
    Substitutions made before (1 week out) will not incur any costs
    Substitutions made after (without 1 week out) will incur a $100 administration charge.


    Privacy Policy
    You agree to the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) to handling and disclosing personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

     

    Recording
    You authorise Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) to record the presentation (which includes any questions or comments by any participant or audience member) in audio or visual format or both. You agree the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is the owner of the copyright and other intellectual property in that recording and that it may use the recording for any purpose it considers appropriate, including publicity, education and/or other activities and may earn income for Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) own benefit. You waive any moral rights you have. Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is not obliged to exercise the right to make any recording.

     

    Code of Conduct
    You agree to act professionally with respect to all fellow delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) staff.
