Paediatrics can be a little tricky, particularly when the child is wriggly or anxious. How do the radiologists and sonographers at the Perth Children's Hospital perform a neonatal head or renal ultrasound? What are their tips, tricks and protocol to help in recognising common paediatric abdominal pathologies? Join this extended webinar and find out.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. After this presentation, a beginner should know how to acquire the images in the correct plane and know some additional imaging planes, for a neonatal head scan and what structures they can see.
  2. Understand some common preterm and term neonatal brain pathologies, along with some interesting cases.
  3. Be able to perform a paediatric renal scan, identify normal renal ultrasound structures and the most common renal pathologies.
  4. Learn about multi-cystic renal disease.
  5. Understand how to look for common neonatal and paediatric abdominal pathologies.
  6. Learn how to perform a DDH ultrasound and by using a combined method to grade them.

Q2: Can I still register and watch the recording after the event has finished ?
A: Yes, once you have registered for the event you'll receive a link to view the recording .

Q3: If I watch the recording, will I still earn CPD?
A: Yes, you will still receive CPD if you watch the live event and/or the recording.
