Practicing Bedside Echo/Ultrasound: When It Counts
Does PoCUS offer real help to guide the management of emergency and/or critically unwell patients? For those unsure of the value of learning PoCUS this event considers the rationale


Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August 2022

As part of our Surf Sand & Soundwaves 10th Anniversary we invite intensive care, emergency department, anaesthesia and smaller health centre practitioners to join us for a weekend of learning from interstate presenters who will be sharing their knowledge and passion for ultrasound all day Saturday and on Sunday morning. Join A/Prof Konstantin Yastrebov, Drs John Evans, Yang Yang, CartanCostello, and Jonathan Sheldon and hear why you should learn ultrasound, what the use and value of echo in a teaching hospital or regional ICU is, lung ultrasound in general and Corona Virus cases, and more.   

This face-to-face event will encourage interactive participation, and it's a great opportunity to catch up with other practitioners and meet new contacts whilst learning in the relaxed environment of Mantra on Salt Beach. Come and enjoy a cocktail on us after Saturday's program has finished. 

Head to Northern NSW - there are so many activities and sights to enjoy, so come to Kingscliff for a weekend away and make the most of it.

We will be recording this event, and registrants of this stream can view the recordings for 45 days following the event.

Any cancellation request from a registrant must be received via email events@asum.com.au at least 10 days prior to this event. No refund will apply after this date. 
ASUM reserves the right to cancel the event within 14 days of due date if there are insufficient registrations or for extraordinary circumstances out of our control.
ASUM is not responsible for travel and accommodation costs incurred in the unlikely situation where we must cancel or reschedule the event.
