Medical Member

Available to AHPRA-registered medical practitioners in Australia. Full professional benefits apply. AHPRA registration number is required at application.

Trainee Associate Member

For medical practitioners enrolled in specialist training programs. Requires a letter from Head of Department or college. Limited benefits with no AJUM access, grants, or voting rights. Upgrade to Medical Member for full access.

Sonographer Member

Open to sonographers registered with ASAR in Australia. Must provide ASAR member ID during application. Grants full professional membership benefits as outlined in the constitution.

Scientific Member

For individuals with academic degrees or research roles in medicine, science, or engineering. Must be involved in ethics-approved ultrasound research or related studies. Full professional member entitlements apply.

Designed for allied health professionals, nurses and midwives with accredited qualifications in Australia or NZ Full professional membership benefits are available.

For students in accredited sonography, medicine, or healthcare programs in Australia or NZ. Associate membership with limited benefits. Sonographers pursuing a second qualification must apply as Professional Members.
